CONCERT POSTPONED
Collage New Music regrets to announce that we must postpone Christopher Oldfather’s recital of Olivier Messiaen’s Vingt regards sur l’enfant-Jésus, originally scheduled for Sunday, January 13, due to a minor injury that leaves Mr. Oldfather temporarily unable to perform.
As Lloyd Schwartz wrote for the Phoenix, “Collage’s veteran pianist Christopher Oldfather might be the perfect interpreter of Messiaen’s challenging 20-movement, two-hour contemplation of the childhood of Jesus.” We sincerely hope to share this musical experience with you at another date, when Chris has fully recovered.
