A new work by Boston favorite David Rakowski and the brilliant High Wire Act by Laura Schwendinger lie at the heart of CNM’s second program. While David’s music is familiar to our audience, Laura’s has not been heard here in more than twenty years, and compositions by Hannah Lash, Benjamin Park (Collage’s ’18-19 Fellow), and Sean Shepherd bring new voices to Collage’s concerts. The excursion from Hannah’s freshly viewed minimalism, through Sean’s sensuous Lumens, to David’s witty wisdom is a brilliant one.
